Description
This cup is handmade. Each cup is unique. Every single dot is put on the cup by hand and is made from black porcelain slip, which rests on the surface and creates a relief. The dots give a very pleasant tactile feeling to the cup.
The relief feels like a braille writing.
The inside is glazed. The outside has a satin matt relief surface and is unglazed. This espresso cup is easy to clean. The cup comes carefully wrapped as a gift.

| Technique | Hand formed by slip casting and using black coloured porcelain slip for the dots. Glazed on the inside, unglazed on the outside. Fired in a electric kiln for the first time up to 950 degrees Celcius (bisquit) and for the second time un to 1260 degrees Celcius (glazing). High firing makes the porcelain strong and robust. |
