This set of cups is from our NON-TRANSPARENCY collection and includes:

Each cup is unique. The cup is glazed on the inside. The outside has a satin matte surface and is unglazed.

The extra translucency is obtained by using the 14th century “rice-grain” technique. You can actually see your coffee or tea true the glazed “windows”.

These cups fit perfectly in the hand and are easy to clean. The cups come carefully wrapped as a gift. 

JHA PORCELAIN uses the highest quality porcelain clay known for its strength, hardness, whiteness and translucency. Any tiny imperfection and variation are signs of the uniqueness of the art object.

Material

Mont Blanc porcelain.

Technique

Hand made by slip casting and hand decorated with colored porcelain slip. Glazed on the inside only. Fired in an electric kiln for the first time up to 980 degrees Celcius (bisquit) and for the second time at high temperature up to 1260 degrees Celcius (glazing). High firing makes the porcelain strong and robust.

Care

This product is dishwasher/microwave/oven safe. Prevent thermal shock, like from the fridge in to the oven.
