(non)-transparency
We share our experiences and feelings with the world around us. Should we share everything or is there still a place for our secrets? In her project “(non)-transparency” Harberink opens up her created pieces by making holes in them. These are later closed again, keeping their transparency. Closing the holes made earlier is a way to retain our own little secrets. The technique she uses is based on the 14th century Chinese “rice grain” technique.
Blue Sky
Inspired by the blue color of the sky. Minimalist blue and white altered decorations.
Black and White
Black and white. The contrast. On one hand the purity, innocence and perfection and on the other hand the unknown, the secret and the mystic.
